someone is really excited about their upcoming birthday :)
we did something fun today -
went to explore one of the Texas caverns!
did you know that all of Texas used to be underwater?
fossilized coral in the cave ceiling!
this is where bats usually are, but none today!
this part is called the ice cream parlor
and headache alley!
this white calcified part took more than 125,000 years to form!
finally, more fossils!
baby mammoth leg bone down there
this stalactite and stalagmite will be touching in the next 100 years!
right before they turned the lights off to show us how absolutely completely dark it is down here
it was a really cool experience!
