Phase three of our photo shoot series occurred today- I can't help myself. This cute little face is so photogenic!! Plus, we have so many great props, I have to capture them all on film!
This little guy is sleeping better and better every night! We're up to about 3 hour stretches at night, and only a little bit of fussing to let us know he's hungry! Still small enough to cuddle with us on the couch without complaining about how lame we are :)
An eventful day in the life of Weston Wyatt- got his first DoD ID card today! Most of us Army kids have to wait until we're 10 to get one, but since Matt and I are both in the military, they've got to make sure he's got one in case of sudden deployments or temporary duty or anything like that. Let me tell you, the picture on that ID card is TOO cute!!
I had to do another photo shoot today- It'll only such a short time before he's too big to fit into these small, cute little objects!
Took the baby with me up to Savannah today to get our BMW serviced- people can't believe what a good baby he is, how he's so quiet even in his stroller or out running errands!
Had his well baby check up today- Weston weighed in at 9 pounds 10 ounces, 22 inches, and a 15 cm head circumference! That's 99% for head, 97% for height, and 79% for weight! String bean we've got here, I guess! While he didn't necessarily enjoy the doctor's visit, at least he didn't have to get more shots this time (check back next month after his 2 month appt when he has to get THREE shots! yikes!)
What better to do after a stressful day than snuggle with Daddy?
I can't believe how quickly this little guy is growing and turning into a little person! Four weeks old, but he already looks like a little person, no longer a newborn! We had fun today with our patriotic themed photo shoot, memorializing this point of his life forever. While it's not always easy to photograph a newborn (and I'm definitely not a professional), it certainly is fun to try! And fun to see the different faces he makes during the ordeal :)
Weekends are the best at the Wyatt house- lots of cuddles, baby kisses, relaxing, and catching up! Baby Weston loves having his Dad around all day on the weekends. I'm so lucky to be home with him during this maternity leave- will hate having to be apart from his cute face all day when I have to go back to work! We're living it up while we can, playing with all the toys our loved ones sent for Wes, having little adventures, and watching the baby learn and grow more every day!
First family walk with our sweet stroller! We love it!
Banner day in the Wyatt house- Weston's first bottle!! Baby boy took it like a pro, didn't even balk at the fact that Daddy was feeding him instead of Mommy! We're so glad he's an easy going guy- and Matt loves being able to feed him and catch up at the end of the day :)
Finally back home! Dad had to be in court for the afternoon, so Mom and Weston hung out at home for a while, unpacking the suitcases, starting laundry, and getting settled back in to being at home!
What a wonderful trip we had, seeing all our family and the Eastern Seaboard
Last day of Matt's conference- luckily Weston is such a mellow guy, he really doesn't care where he is as long as his Mom and Dad are there to play with him, feed him, and hang out!
Look how big I'm getting! Already outgrown my 0-3 month clothes!
The first day Matt had to go back to work! Even though it was just a conference not far from our hotel, it was still sad to have him go- we love having him home to play and relax with us all day! Weston and I still were able to have some fun, heading to the mall for some shopping and indoor exercise (maybe more shopping than exercise :) )
