somebody needs a haircut

today started with the kids' fishing derby!
Charlotte caught three and Weston caught one -
we were a little disappointed, but they hadn't stocked this lake in three years, so ya get what ya get.
We were a little jealous of the boy next to us, though, who caught a catfish!
nice morning for fishing though
it is hard to do anything with this boy lately... he wants so much to be involved with everything and gets super mad when he doesn't get to have his way.
luckily cinnamon rolls, popcorn, and Curious George gave us a few minutes to bait some hooks :)

then some KC BBQ for lunch!

it was so fantastic
then hurried home for field church and a picnic :)
