woke up to snow!!!
We made a mini Thanksgiving meal yesterday and slow cooked our broth overnight...
woke up to snow and this delicious smell!
Pre-boiled some hot water into a thermos, brewed our coffee quickly into travel mugs- all good decisions, because we lost power pretty quickly!
all this wet, heavy snow breaking off limbs like no body's business.

even for baby!
babies in snow bibs are THE BEST
he doesn't mind as long as we hold him... they certainly limit his ability to motor around :)

I am so lucky to have my shoveler back
and he is so lucky he got an awesome new hat for Christmas :)
and she loves to wear her brother's hand me downs : )
only people out playing, shoveling, taking care of trees...
we have some pretty winter-dumb people around us

our neighbor's tree broke into our yard... luckily it avoided my new baby tree!
girls got cold
we sledded a bit longer
they had a prime watching spot!
all these trees, drooping with snow
came in and the girls had taken care of themselves!
so we had some warm adult beverages out in our outdoor snow chalet
I made them some hot chocolate too
"what do you mean I ate all the marshmallows yesterday?!"
had to go finish him up!
