So today we had scheduled to look at the two most promising houses we found in the area...
We met the realtor at 10 am at the first house.... no one was there to let us in. And she didn't have a key.
So we said, well, we liked the other one better anyway. Drove the 20 minutes across town to the other house.... no one is home there either. Two for two.
But the realtor said, hey, I have one other one you might like.
So we drove back to the side of town we had just left to look at a house we'd already looked at previously and liked from a different company. This one we could get in, and really liked it! The owners didn't really want "large" dogs, but we might have them convinced to let us rent it.
If not, we walked down the street from this third house and saw another (slightly smaller) house which could also work for us.

So, long story short, we are having late success in the house hunting game, so fear not! We will have a place for you to come visit soon! :)

It sure is tiring learning a new city and looking for a new home :)

Dixie was so glad she got to tag along with us today.

We have been in our hotel one week now, and I think both Dixie and the lady who takes her out 6-8 times a day are ready to be done with walking up and down from the fourth floor to go potty (no dogs allowed in the elevator) (did I mention I'm the lady who takes her out?!) :)

picnic at the park!

We saw the cutest little tiny baby frogs at the park today!
Of course Weston had to start colleting them :)

we only squished a few :)
and mostly with our shoes on accident
