Day 104 - 31 March 2015

As most of you know, dislocating my knee three days before giving birth to Weston was one of the hardest and craziest things I have ever had to deal with. Never before had I had to think about even walking as a challenge! Slowly, though, I built the strength back up in my tendons and ligaments and was able to walk without crutches or braces. Running was a whole different story. Being weak and nervous is not fun, but with the help of my infant running buddy, we started with one block at a time, and have worked our way up to 1.5 miles without stopping! These next 18 days will be spent attempting a 2 mile run, and then culminating my rehabilitative efforts with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 5k in Savannah GA. Your prayer and well wishes will be much appreciated! This will be my longest run and first fun sans stroller!

If you would like to donate to the cause, I placed the link to my personal fundraising page here- donations can be made online, or through the form that can be downloaded and mailed in. Its a worthy cause, and I can't wait to be a part of it!

On another note, I finally have had a few seconds to sit down and edit some pictures of our handsome man! Loving his toys and his feet-toys :) Happy baby all around!
