Day 104 - 31 March 2015

As most of you know, dislocating my knee three days before giving birth to Weston was one of the hardest and craziest things I have ever had to deal with. Never before had I had to think about even walking as a challenge! Slowly, though, I built the strength back up in my tendons and ligaments and was able to walk without crutches or braces. Running was a whole different story. Being weak and nervous is not fun, but with the help of my infant running buddy, we started with one block at a time, and have worked our way up to 1.5 miles without stopping! These next 18 days will be spent attempting a 2 mile run, and then culminating my rehabilitative efforts with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 5k in Savannah GA. Your prayer and well wishes will be much appreciated! This will be my longest run and first fun sans stroller!

If you would like to donate to the cause, I placed the link to my personal fundraising page here- donations can be made online, or through the form that can be downloaded and mailed in. Its a worthy cause, and I can't wait to be a part of it!

On another note, I finally have had a few seconds to sit down and edit some pictures of our handsome man! Loving his toys and his feet-toys :) Happy baby all around!

Day 103 - 30 March 2015

Getting too big for his britches... And his bassinet too! :)

Got my new lens today- can't wait for another photo shoot soon!!

Day 102 - 29 March 2015

So interested in toys these days! It's fun to watch him grab things and think about them :) and then tire himself out :)

Day 100!! - 27 March 2015

100 day old baby!! And we love him 100x more everyday!
I, of course, commemorated the occasion by taking pictures of his progress!
Little boy is not so little anymore!

Still loves eating Mommy's hands!

Day 99 - 26 March 2015

Thursday down! Only one more day til the weekend!
Weston is rolling over like crazy these days, from back to front, but not the other way. Silly boy has it backwards!
Hanging out outside with my friends...

Look at me, mom!

Day 98 - 25 March 2015

What a beautiful day today turned out to be! I was so motivated, I hit the gym at lunch, and then Matt and I hit the track this evening after work!
Spring sure has sprung!

Day 97 - 24 March 2015

Think my boy's ready for solid foods?? :)

Day 96 - 23 March 2015

Back to work! It's never fun having the weekend end, but at least we get some fun in the mornings before work!

Day 95 - 22 March 2015

Busy Sunday for us!
Got our grocery and lowes shopping in this morning, spent the afternoon preparing our fruits and veggies for lunches this week, and topped the day off with yard work!
We love these days of hanging out together- love it even more because Weston is so awake lately, we feel like he's so involved in our family goings-on!

Loves sleeping on his side lately! Crazy boy...

Day 94 - 21 March 2015

Playing around with my camera this weekend, trying to see which pictures turned out the best!
Feel free to comment with which ones you like the most :)
They're fun to take, especially with a fun-loving boy as the center of attention!

Loves his toys!

Day 93 - 20 March 2015

Friday friday friday!!

March Madness??!? When does football start again! :)

Happy baby on this Friday!

Loves to snuggle with him mom on the couch while we wait for Dad to get home from work :)

Have a great weekend!

Day 92 - 19 March 2015

Weston loves his toy from his New York friends!! Hugs it and loves it all the time :)

The lengths we go to for giggles ;)

St Patrick's Day Day 90 - 17 March 2015

Happy Saint Patrick's Day from Savannah, GA!!

There is a large Irish presence here in Southeast Georgia, so the St. Patty's Day celebration is enormous! People have been partying here since last Wednesday and the parade today was highly attended! We were lucky enough to get a great parking spot only about 10 blocks from where we found a spot to watch the parade, and we were even in the shade for about half the time! What a day!
Finished the day off with some green beer and corned beef and cabbage- what could be better?!

'
Chatting with Mommy during his photo shoot!

Ready for green festivities!!

Forsyth Park in the early morning

Green fountain by sunrise :)

Ready for the parade to start!!

Mom, when does the fun start?!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Matt got his turn to see the Clydesdales!

Weston's first parade!

Sons of the Confederate Army... down south!

Slept through a lot of the parade, except the musket blasts from the colonials, the super loud honking of the fire truck horns, and one particularly loud drum line :)

Family selfie!!

Weston got his first beads from a nice lady at the parade! (worn for photo purposes only :) )

Better shots of the green fountain:

My little leprechaun!

Green beer toast!

Happy St Patrick's Day to one and all!
